Terms of Service
Last updated: March 15, 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Medulla, a Kubernetes upgrade intelligence platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including individual practitioners and organizations.
Account Terms
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration and keeping your account credentials secure. Each account is intended for a single individual; shared accounts are not permitted. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Medulla for legitimate Kubernetes upgrade management purposes only. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform or its algorithms. Abuse of API rate limits, automated scraping, or attempts to access other tenants' data are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
Service Description
Medulla provides Kubernetes upgrade risk intelligence, including upgrade simulation, confidence scoring, and risk assessment. Features include maintenance window scheduling, automated upgrade recommendations, and human-gated autonomous upgrades. The platform analyzes cluster configurations and version compatibility to help platform teams make informed upgrade decisions.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance through the dashboard and email notifications. Service interruptions may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, infrastructure outages, or security incidents.
Intellectual Property
Medulla and its underlying algorithms, models, and platform technology are the intellectual property of Medulla. You retain full ownership of your cluster data, configurations, and any data you provide to the platform. Simulation results, confidence scores, and upgrade reports generated from your data are considered your data and may be exported at any time.
Limitation of Liability
Medulla provides upgrade recommendations and risk assessments as decision-support tools. We are not liable for upgrade decisions made based on our recommendations, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding any claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms, including unauthorized access attempts or abusive behavior. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted from our systems.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of Medulla shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any disputes before initiating formal proceedings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice for material changes via email and a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Medulla after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
